About me.

Hello!

Out of the multiple roles I play, I identify best with being a Nature Educator. Not only do I love all things nature, biodiversity and environment related, I also enjoy sharing my passion with others.

Armed with a dream to work with and for nature, I left behind my legal career in a leap of faith to pursue a  Bachelor of Science (Zoology) at the University of Tasmania (Australia). It was a huge change paired with a steep learning curve, but it remains one of the best decisions of my life!

Upon my return to Singapore, my lucky stars aligned, landing me a position with the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum (previously known as the Raffles Museum of Biodiversity Research). I spent the next six years living out my dream of immersing myself outdoors amidst nature, sparking an interest for nature in young minds, and just generally creating awareness of the vast diversity we have right under our noses.

With Draw of Nature, I aim to continue sharing about the wonders of the natural world, as well as tips to be more eco-friendly. Being a nature-lover, I am sometimes embarrassed by my less than eco-friendly lifestyle (major shopaholic here!). Follow me on my journey as I work my way to living a more environmentally sustainable lifestyle, sharing with you tips, cheats and products!

Stay tuned to find out more, or get in touch to join me for some nature explorations!

Let's go exploring!

Tammy
